Colleen Lischwe Has Sadly Passed Away: It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Colleen Lischwe, a highly respected graduate assistant coach for the Bearcats Water Polo team. 

Colleen, known for her exceptional dedication to the sport and her athletes, has left an irreplaceable void in the water polo community and the lives of those who cherished her.

Remembering Colleen Lischwe

Colleen’s journey in water polo began during her time at Kirkwood High School, where she graduated in 2007. As the varsity captain of her co-ed team in her senior season, Colleen’s remarkable talent and leadership were undeniable. Her contributions to the sport earned her the title of Missouri Female Water Polo Player of the Year from 2005 to 2007, along with All-Conference and All-State honors in 2007.

After high school, Colleen continued to shine as a player at Marist College, competing in NCAA Division I water polo. Her relentless dedication and academic achievements earned her the distinction of Academic All-American in 2008. Colleen was instrumental in helping the Marist Red Foxes secure spots at the NCAA National Championships twice, achieving eighth place in 2008 and seventh in 2009.
