Her contributions to the sport earned her the title of Missouri Female Water Polo Player of the Year from 2005 to 2007, along with All-Conference and All-State honors in 2007.
After high school, Colleen continued to shine as a player at Marist College, competing in NCAA Division I water polo. Her relentless dedication and academic achievements earned her the distinction of Academic All-American in 2008. Colleen was instrumental in helping the Marist Red Foxes secure spots at the NCAA National Championships twice, achieving eighth place in 2008 and seventh in 2009.
