He is preceded in death by his infant son Samuel Judah Bushlack, his sister Jody (Bushlack) Sloan, and his nephew Max David Bushlack. He is survived by his loving wife Lauren, son Micah, daughter Jacey, parents George and Judy Bushlack, and his siblings, along with an extended family and countless friends who cherished him deeply.
Johnse was a man of faith, integrity, and generosity. His love for his family was evident in everything he did. He met and married the love of his life, Lauren, in 2005, and together they built a life rooted in faith, service, and love. His children, Micah and Jacey, were his greatest joy, and he poured his heart into being the best father he could be.
An avid outdoorsman, Johnse found peace in nature. He worked as a fishing guide and manager at Seagull Outfitters in the Boundary Waters before joining Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids.
